The Auburn Public School District is pleased to welcome the newest members of the APS Leadership Team, one who is new to the Auburn Public Schools and the two others who have assumed new roles, pictured from left to right: Mrs. Jessica Pitsillides, Assistant Principal of the Swanson Road Intermediate School; Mrs. Marie Mahan, Principal of the Bryn Mawr School; and Dr. Elizabeth “Beth” Chamberland, Assistant Superintendent.
Prior to assuming the role of Assistant Superintendent for the Auburn Public Schools, Dr. Chamberland served as the proud principal of the Bryn Mawr School for 10 years, working closely with the Bryn Mawr Team in leading their outstanding educational program. Dr. Chamberland is thrilled to be serving in her new role and we are confident she will continue to be a tremendous asset and contributing member of our team.
Mrs. Mahan has worked in the Auburn Public Schools since 2002, most recently serving as the Assistant Principal of the Swanson Road Intermediate School and previously as a District-wide Math Coach and dedicated teacher in the Auburn Public Schools. Her leadership of the Bryn Mawr School is certain to be exemplary as she positively engages with the entire school community, including students, parents and staff.
Mrs. Pitsillides joined the APS Team in July, having previously served as a Program Director in the Central Massachusetts Collaborative and prior to that as an accomplished teacher in that same program. The APS Leadership Team – and SWIS Team, as well – are thrilled that she has joined our team, confident that she will bring enthusiasm, expertise and excitement to her new position.
We are thrilled to have Beth and Marie serving in their new capacities and welcome Jessica to the APS Team! It’s going to be a tremendous year!
