On behalf of the faculty and staff of the Mary D. Stone School, I welcome you to our web-site. We hope you find this site a valuable source of information about our school community.
Since 1927, the red brick school has stood nestled in the center of Auburn with a long history of educating many of the town's youngest citizens. That tradition of educational excellence continues today with approximately 250 students enrolled from kindergarten through grade 2 served by a highly qualified and dedicated team of teachers, specialists, and instructional assistants.
In partnership with parents, volunteers and the community, we offer a rich, stimulating environment with instruction, activities, and events that meet the varied needs of our students. A full array of therapies and services complement our standards-based curriculum which is modeled after the 2011 Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks which includes the Common Core State Standards.
I encourage you to contact us whenever you have a question, concern or suggestion. Our two-way communication ensures that our common goal- educating confident, caring children- will be achieved. We welcome your support and input as an integral part of our positive and productive learning environment.
I look forward to working with you and your child. I can be reached via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 508-832-7766.
