Good Afternoon, All, Please find attached a letter from me to the Auburn community, a draft of our Return to School guide (in word and pdf), and a letter from Commissioner Riley that explains the metric maps unveiled by the Governor on Tuesday. My letter speaks more specifically to where we are with our planning for September.
With Governor Baker having recently announced that we are now in Step I of Phase II of the State’s Reopening Plan, the School Committee voted at its meeting of June 10, 2020 to reopen the schools’ fields, playgrounds and courts, however, as outlined by the Governor and his Reopening Team, the regulations must be followed. Please view these regulations.
As a school district, a community, a state and a country, we find ourselves facing challenges we never imagined just a few short months ago.

Effective August 1, 2020, all visitors and returning residents entering Massachusetts must follow new travel orders. The Commonwealth has made great progress to slow the spread of COVID-19 and gradually re-open the economy, and all visitors have a responsibility to help us keep transmission levels as low as possible.
